Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

shootyrshot sells digital content (a custom-built web page + optional add-ons) that is delivered to you immediately. This page explains exactly when refunds happen, when they don't, and how to ask.

1. EU 14-day right of withdrawal — waived at checkout

EU consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases (Directive 2011/83/EU). For digital content delivered immediately, that right can be waived if you give express consent and acknowledge that you lose it.

We make this explicit at checkout — there's a checkbox you must tick before the "Pay" button is enabled, wording: "I want my site delivered immediately and I understand I lose my 14-day EU right of withdrawal once it's generated."

Once the site is generated and your private link is issued, the digital content is considered delivered and that statutory withdrawal right no longer applies.

2. When we DO refund (goodwill)

  • Service failure: the site failed to generate, the link was broken, the email never arrived (and we can't deliver it on retry).
  • Double-charge: two charges for the same publish.
  • Add-on never delivered: e.g. you paid for music but the music player isn't available on your site.
  • You contact us within 14 days of the charge with the order details.

3. Partial / underpaid checkouts — auto-refunded

The checkout shows the full price for your order. If the amount that actually reaches us is less than that price (for example, the amount field was edited at checkout), we cannot create the site — a partial payment does not unlock the product.

When that happens, nothing is activated and the partial payment is refunded within 48 hours (automatically where possible, otherwise manually by us). Your unfinished draft stays in your dashboard — pay the full price there to make it live.

4. When we do NOT refund

  • Buyer's remorse after the page has been generated.
  • You changed your mind about who you sent it to.
  • The recipient said no, ignored it, or never opened the link.
  • The recipient's reaction didn't match your expectations.
  • You typo'd the recipient's name and want a free do-over (you can edit the page from your dashboard — same link, no extra charge).
  • You bought the analytics add-on but it shows no traffic (we can't make people open it).

5. Renewal & extended add-on

  • Renewal (+30 days, €2.99) is non-refundable once applied — the days have already been added to your expiry.
  • Extended (+60 days, €2.99 at publish; or as an upgrade post-publish) is non-refundable for the same reason.

6. How to request

Email support@shootyrshot.gudweb.si from the email on your account. Include: order date, amount, and a short reason. We respond within 3 business days. If approved, the refund is processed by Polar (our Merchant of Record) within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method.

7. Automatic deactivation on refund

When a refund is processed, your site is automatically marked refunded and its expiry is set to "now" — meaning the private link stops working immediately. We can't process a refund AND keep the page live, even by request.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us first — we're fast and friendly, and almost every dispute is a misunderstanding. A chargeback opened without trying us first may result in account suspension and voided referral commissions earned through that account. Fraudulent chargebacks (services rendered + clear product use) will be contested.

9. Polar.sh as Merchant of Record

All payments are processed by Polar.sh, who is the legal seller of record for VAT and invoicing. The official invoice for any purchase comes from Polar — to get a copy, reply to the Polar confirmation email or contact us and we'll forward it.
